When the Peeps-flavored Oreos came out last year, they had a bright pink filling and it turns out, that had a shocking side effect. It’s unpleasant to talk about, but eating those Peeps Oreos turned people’s poop bright pink! Some shared the surprising news on Twitter after eating a lot of the spring cookies last year and we were justifiably alarmed.
Other fans of the Peeps Oreos claim eating them turned their saliva pink, too, but that’s not nearly as surprising as vibrant pink poo. And this year, Oreo switched things up with their Peeps flavor, the new version is a chocolate cookie with a purple creme filling. No word on what the effects of eating a lot of that purple icing may be, but consider yourself warned after last year’s side effect situation.
