Josh Turner Announces Gospel Album "I Serve a Savior"

Country artist Josh Turner will take a detour into gospel music on his next album, I Serve a Savior. "My faith is the most important thing to me," Turner said about the project in a statement. “I want people to hear the sentiment and heart behind this record. I want them to feel the same inspiration that I felt. I want them to feel that and hopefully they’ll make these songs a part of their life.” Rolling Stone reports that the 11-track release, out October 26, will include "hand-picked hymns, new original material and live versions of Turner’s inspirational tunes.” Sonya Isaacs and Grand Ole Opry star Bobby Osborne contribute guest vocals to the LP, as do all four of Turner's youngest sons with wife Jennifer on a live version of the song she co-wrote with their 11-year-old son Hampton, "The River (of Happiness)."
