11/2 Free Alzheimer’s Workshop at Handley Library

There will be an Alzheimer’s program on Saturday, November 2 at Handley Library from 10:30 a.m. till 12:30 p.m. The program is hosted by Hilltop Inspirit Living and sponsored by the Friends of the Handley Regional Library System. Topics include“The importance exercise and hydration play on dementia”by Fox Rehab and“Effective Communication Strategies during all stages of Alzheimer’s disease”by Jane Priest, Alzheimer’s Association. The workshop is free and open to the public. In addition, Blue Ridge Hospice and Brain Injury Services will be on-hand to answer questions and provide information.
