Nobody wants to get pulled over, but when it happened to several drivers in Knoxville, Tennessee, they got a nice surprise. Instead of handing out tickets, deputies from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office gave out gift cards to good drivers.
Those following traffic laws were given $50 gift cards to Academy Sports + Outdoors, who partnered with the sheriff’s office for the holiday treat. KSCO says it wanted to remind people to drive safely during holiday travels.
