Boy Goes Magnetic Fishing And Finds A Live Grenade

A nine-year-old boy was recently on a fishing trip with his dad and it could have been deadly if notfor some divine intervention. Kolton Decker says, “If God wasn’t watching me, I probably would have blown up.” That's because Kolton got a magnetic fishing pole for Christmas and he and his dad decided to try the pole out at a local river in North Carolina. Fifteen minutes into their fishing trip, Kolton caught something that he first thought was a tennis ball. However, it wasn't a tennis ball, after all, it was a live grenade. Thankfully, Kolton’s dad is a retired special forces soldier who knew to get help right away. Fort Bragg bomb expert Staff Sgt. Drew Dobbs was called out to help safely detonate the grenade. Nobody was hurt during this fishing trip.
