Federal air officials say a woman became unstable and violent while on a flight from Germany to Dulles International Airport in Virginia. Reports indicate that 27-year-old Dana Mustafa was drunk when she headed into the bathroom before setting off a smoke alarm by lighting up a cigarette. She was taken back to her seat, where she punched a TV before heading back to the bathroom to light up again.
Air marshals apprehended and restrained Mustafa though she repeatedly kicked one of them. Before the flight landed, Mustafa allegedly threatened to stab everyone on the plane and then kill herself, adding "I'm Palestinian! That's how we get down." She was charged with assaulting a federal officer and could face eight years behind bars if convicted.
