A British man is under arrest for assaulting a seagull.
Police in Cornwall say the man was out with a McDonald's meal when a seagull tried to take his Big Mac. The man then allegedly bit into the seagull and threw it to the ground before nearby officers responded.
They say the man was heavily under the influence of drugs, so he was taken to a hospital for treatment. The bird reportedly flew off when an officer tried to check on it. Seagulls are protected by the Wildlife and Countryside Act of 1981.
