46% Of Americans Won't Be Handing Out Candy On Halloween

Half of Americans are not planning on handing out candy to trick-or-treaters this year due to the ongoing pandemic.

The study just found that nearly 46% of Americans want no interaction with visitors to their doorsteps on Halloween. 34% still plan to celebrate, 30% said they would open their door to give out candy and 24% plan to just leave the bowl outside.

About 35% of those who said they would physically hand out the candy are 55 or older. For the 29%, those fell between the ages of 18-34 and 36% between 35-54.
