A new strain of ransomware, dubbed “GoodWill,” has been identified by cybersecurity analysts. The twist is victims have to complete a series of charitable tasks in order to retrieve their data. The charity work must be recorded and uploaded to socials. They include donating clothing to charity, feed five kids under 13 at a pizza place and take a selfie, and then go to a hospital and pay off someone’s bill. This isn’t so bad!
