Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral Is Over; Her Burial Happens Later Today

Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral service is over. Her coffin was carried into the historic Abbey by a 123-year-old gun carriage from Westminster Hall in a short procession. King Charles, his siblings, Prince William and his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte, along with Prince Harry walked behind the casket. Some two-thousand people including world leaders and royal family members were invited to pay their respects at today's event. A procession is now taking the queen to Windsor Castle where a private committal service will see the royals inter the queen next to her beloved husband Prince Philip and her parents. A two minute moment of silence was observed throughout the Commonwealth during the service. In a touching moment during the service, tears streamed from the King’s eyes.
