Most Common Recurring Dreams Women Have

Ever wonder how your dreams compare to everyone else’s? Thanks to new research, we now know more about the details of our dreams. A 2-thousand person study conducted by Amerisleep reveals that dreaming about falling is super common - 54% of participants dream about falling regularly. But falling isn’t even one of the top three most common recurring dreams women have.

According to Amerisleep’s research, women often dream about small creatures like spiders and snakes, it’s the third most common recurring dream among women at 20.5%. Losing our teeth comes in at number two with 31.9%. And if you think that’s bad, we’re sorry to say it only gets worse. The most common recurring dream women have is about being chased, 54% of us dream about this scary scenario regularly. On the flip side, the most common recurring dreams for men are about flying, meeting a stranger and finding money, which seems a lot more fun than running for our lives in our dreams.

The good news is that there are things women can do to help get a better sleep and dream quality. Certified sleep science coach McKenzie Hyde says having a comfortable mattress is important for a good night’s sleep and that reducing day-to-day stress can help you sleep better. Other factors that influence sleep quality include room temperature, what you eat and technology use.
