Man Gets Speeding Ticket While Hauling Giant 8k-Pound Potato

A driver was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol for speeding, but it wasn’t just any traffic stop for the CHiPs; the truck they pulled over was going 63 in a 55 mph zone while hauling a giant potato. The spud, weighing 8k pounds and measuring 72 feet long and 13 feet high, is a “traveling ambassador” for Idaho, but it’s not real. The driver, Boise resident Sting Ray Robb, finished second in the Andretti Autosport standings for 2022, and in addition to getting cited for speeding, he was also given a ticket for the truck being 12k pounds overweight.
