Why Tying The Knot May Be Good For You

Getting married and having a good relationship has some seriously good health benefits. “Study Finds” dug into recent studies to find out just what they are. The list is long, so here are some of the bonuses of coupling up:

  • You have a sense of belonging
  • Social integration happens
  • The risk for high blood pressure and heart disease is reduced
  • Inflammation is lower
  • Married folk live about two years longer than singles
  • The teamwork leads to healthier eating

If a marriage is rocky, all of this goes out the window and health risks significantly increase.
