Study: Movies Are More Memorable In Theaters

Most moviegoers will head to the theaters even if the film they want to see is going to be available on streaming soon. That's according to a new report from United Talent Agency. It found that two-thirds of Americans say the length of time from a film's release in theaters to when it hits streaming has little or no impact on their decision to see the movie on the big screen. This comes as three of Netflix's top viewed film releases of last year had theatrical windows at first. The craziest takeaway was that viewers didn’t remember the last original streaming movie they saw by name and the rest couldn’t remember the name of the last film they watched at home.
