Tanya Tucker Announces New Album

Tanya Tucker has had a huge week. The country legend was announced earlier this week as being one of the latest round of inductees into the Country Music Hall Of Fame - and while for many that would serve as a bow on an illustrious career, she followed that up with word that she had a new album coming soon!

In 2019, Tanya released a comeback album of sorts - "While I'm Livin'", which showed the country singer still had things to say, and won her two GRAMMY Awards as well. The album, co-produced by Shooter Jennings and Brandi Carlile, was her first in over a decade and was responsible for a career resurgence. So it made sense she would team up with Jennings and Carlile for her next album. "'Sweet Western Sound' is another revelation and I'm excited to see what folks think of our new endeavor," Tucker said in a statement. "It's ALWAYS a trip working with Brandi and Shooter. I didn't know if we'd be working together again on a new album after 'While I'm Livin''!! But we did it!"

Tanya will play two shows at the Ryman Auditorium on June 3 and 4, immediately after the June 2 release of the album. The first single from the project, "Kindness", was released yesterday. Check out the track list:
