New Jersey Is Now The Only State Where You Can’t Pump Your Own Gas

New Jersey is now the only state in the U.S where drivers can't pump their own gas. It comes as lawmakers in Oregon voted to end the ban on self-serve gas and Governor Tina Kotek signed off on it, ending the state's 72-year ban. Gas stations across New Jersey have pushed for lawmakers to lift the ban, which has been in effect since 1949. They say self-serve gas would allow them to lower the prices, though prices in the Garden State are pretty low to begin with.
