iPhone 15 Could Be Getting A USB-C Port

Wouldn’t it be great if iPhones could use any charger? Well, when the iPhone 15 launches next month, it will likely have the dream feature of a generic (USB-C) charging port. The proprietary Lightning Port that iPhone users have become accustomed to since its launch in 2012, will be replaced with the same USB-C connector that most other types of phones are equipped with. Now no more scrambling for an iPhone charging cable at a friend's house or at work! You can thank European regulators for the change. They passed a rule requiring all smartphones to have a USB-C port by next year.
