Judging by the uptick in searches for plumbers, Black Friday was more like “Brown Friday” for Americans. According to data compiled by Yelp, the day after Thanksgiving is a huge day for those going online searching for “emergency plumbing services”…with many calls coming in to professionals to help unclog toilets and repair drains. Congratulations to Portland, Oregon, a city that saw the largest increase in plumbing searches at 23%. Virginia Beach was number two…huh-huh…at 22%, with Raleigh, Indianapolis, and Jacksonville rounding out the top five American cities.
