The World’s Biggest Cruise Ship Joins The Royal Caribbean Fleet

Royal Caribbean has acquired the world's largest cruise ship, the Icon of the Seas, measuring almost 12-hundred feet and weighing in at over 250-thousand-tonnes. Built in 900 days at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland, this 20-deck vessel can accommodate 76-hundred guests and 2,350 crew members. The ship features eight unique neighborhoods, over 40 bars and dining options, and various attractions, including the world's largest waterpark at sea and the first suspended infinity pool at sea. Eco-friendly, it's the first Royal Caribbean ship powered by liquefied natural gas and includes a waste-to-energy plant. The Icon of the Seas will begin its maiden voyage from Miami in January 2024.
