“Variety” Ranks The Most Romantic Movies Of All Time

Since it’s Valentine's Day, “Variety” is sharing their list of the 50 most romantic movies of all time. “Casablanca” starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman is in the top spot. As for the 50th film… that’s “Dirty Dancing.” Here’s more of the list:

  3. “To Catch A Thief” with Cary Grant and Grace Kelly
  4. “Moulin Rouge”
  5. “A Star Is Born” starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga
  6. “Brief Encounter” 1945

  8. “Brokeback Mountain”
  9. “The Umbrellas of Cherbourg” 1964
  10. “Gone With The Wind”

Elsewhere on the list are: “An Officer and a Gentleman,” “The Remains of the Day,” “A Star Is Born” from 1954 with Judy Garland, “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” “Past Lives” from 2023, “The Princess Bride,” and “The Bodyguard” with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston. It’s time for a marathon!
