PA Goodwill Finds Rare Gold LEGO Among Its Donations

If you have some old LEGOs, you may want to sift through them to look for a gold one. Workers at a DuBois, Pennsylvania Goodwill were sifting through a LEGO donation when they came across a gold piece and they didn’t know what it was at first. It turns out there’s a rare 14-karat gold piece called the Bionicle Golden Kanohi Hau mask. It’s believed there are only 30 in existence. After figuring out what the LEGO was, the Goodwill put it up for auction, but the $33-thousand sale fell through when the bidder wouldn’t pay up. Now it’s back up for sale at ShopGoodwill.com. The bidding is over $6-thousand with a day to go.
