Traffic Stopped On California Highway After Massive Toilet Paper Spill

Now that’s a clog. A truck carrying toilet paper rolls spilled all over a California highway yesterday, causing sewer-sized traffic congestion. The huge boxes of toilet paper fell onto the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway in Newhall, California, blocking the roads for hours as hundreds of rolls littered the road.

Law enforcement officers worked as quickly as possible to clear the roadway. Despite the disruption, social media users found humor in the situation, saying things like “If this happened a few years ago there’d be a brawl on the freeway,” and “How appropriate…The entire state is in the toilet.”
