An Australian puppy has found a perfect job after being rejected for police duty.
Gavel is a sweet German Shepherd. That doesn’t fly when you are supposed to be a K-9 officer, so he was passed over. That’s when Queensland Governor Paul de Jersey dubbed the dog Vice Regal Dog.
Gavel is doing a great job being the puppy of the governor’s estate and he has grown a lot, busting through four ceremonial coats already!
