An employee at a Canadian recycling plant hit the jackpot when he found more than $100-thousand stashed inside an old TV set. The honest employee turned the cash over and thanks to other documents found inside, authorities were able to track down the original owner.
It turns out a 68-year-old gave the TV to a friend 30-years-ago and simply forgot the cash was inside. (How do you forget $100-thousand!) The money has since been returned. No word on if the employee got a reward, but we would certainly hope so.
