Honda Introduces Pink 'Fit She's' Car for Women
Honda has introduced a new car targeted exclusively to women -- the only car like it being built today -- that's a version of its Fit subcompact, called the Fit She's.
You can only get one in Japan, and it's got lots of pink: the car itself is pink, there's pink stitching in the seats, steering wheel and floor mats, and there are pink borders around the dashboard displays. The car's "She's" name tag even has a heart for an apostrophe.
Wait, there's more... Fit She's has special windshield glass that cuts 99 percent of ultraviolet rays and what's called a "Plasmacluster" air conditioning system that Honda says can improve the driver's skin quality.
This isn't the 1st time automakers have tried to target women with special cars. There were a bucnh of them, including Chrysler's 1955 Dodge LaFemme, which had two-toned pink and white paint and a storage area for a purse and rain hat.
